A ladybug takes flight in this extreme close-up shot in the daytime. The small insect is perched atop a green plant and opens its black-spotted orange wings. The shallow depth of field blurs the green background, making the subject stand out. This photo would be suitable for projects centered on the natural world, insects, and taking flight.
