A nuthatch lands on a snow covered tree stump in a winter forest. The stump is covered in snow, moss, and a small branch. Seeds are spread out on the surface. The bird, with its grey, black and white feathers, lands and eats the seeds. A snow covered slope rises in the background, lined with dark evergreens and light colored deciduous trees.
